The Sanskrit edition of the Apastamba Grihya-sutra with the commentaries of Haradatta (called the Anakula-vritti) and Sudarshana (called the Grihyatatparyadarshana-vyakhya). The Apastamba Grihyasutra is a short treatise on Vedic rituals which, together with the Hiranyakeshin-grihya-sutra, belongs to the Taittiriya School of the Black Yajur-Veda. brāhmaṇānbhojayitvā'śiṣo vācayitvā kumāraṃ bhojayitvānuvākasya prathamena yajuṣāpaḥ saṃsṛjyoṣṇāśśītāsvānīyottarayā śira unatti // ĀpGs_10.5 //
tataḥ śvobhūte brāhmaṇān bhojayitvā tairāśiṣo vācayati-piṇyāhaṃ svasyṛddhaṃ iti /
tataḥ kumāraṃ bhojayet /
evamantaṃ pitrādeḥ karma /
athācāryaḥ uṣṇāśśītāścāpaḥ saṃsṛjati /
anuvākasyo ttarasya prathamena yajuṣā 'uṣṇenavāya'; vityetena /
saṃsṛjaṃścoṣṇāśśītāsvānayati, na śītā uṣṇāsu /
tatastābhiradbhiḥ kumārasya śira unatti kledayati- uttarayarcā'āpa undantvi'tyetayā /
uttareṇa yajuṣetyeva siddhe anuvākasya prathamena yajuṣetyuktaṃ saṃjñākaraṇārtham /
tena uṣṇena vāyavudakenetyeṣa ityatrānuvākasya grahaṇaṃ bhavati /
anyathā saṃśayaḥ syāt- anuvāko mantrā veti /
uṣṇāśśītāsvānīyetyeva siddhe saṃsṛjyetivacanaṃ sarvārthatvapradarśanārtham /

kecit-pūrvedyurnāndīśrāddham, ācārāt smṛtyantarācca /
