The Sanskrit edition of the Apastamba Grihya-sutra with the commentaries of Haradatta (called the Anakula-vritti) and Sudarshana (called the Grihyatatparyadarshana-vyakhya). The Apastamba Grihyasutra is a short treatise on Vedic rituals which, together with the Hiranyakeshin-grihya-sutra, belongs to the Taittiriya School of the Black Yajur-Veda. athopanayanavidhiḥ-pūrvedyurnāndīśrāddham /
tataḥ śvobhūte brāhmaṇān bhojayitvā tairāśiṣo vācayati-piṇyāhaṃ svasyṛddhaṃ iti /
tataḥ kumāraṃ bhojayet /
evamantaṃ pitrādeḥ karma /
athācāryaḥ uṣṇāśśītāścāpaḥ saṃsṛjati /
anuvākasyo ttarasya prathamena yajuṣā 'uṣṇenavāya'; vityetena /
saṃsṛjaṃścoṣṇāśśītāsvānayati, na śītā uṣṇāsu /
tatastābhiradbhiḥ kumārasya śira unatti kledayati- uttarayarcā'āpa undantvi'tyetayā /
uttareṇa yajuṣetyeva siddhe anuvākasya prathamena yajuṣetyuktaṃ saṃjñākaraṇārtham /
tena uṣṇena vāyavudakenetyeṣa ityatrānuvākasya grahaṇaṃ bhavati /
anyathā saṃśayaḥ syāt- anuvāko mantrā veti /
uṣṇāśśītāsvānīyetyeva siddhe saṃsṛjyetivacanaṃ sarvārthatvapradarśanārtham /
atmanaśca nāpitasya ca undanārthāstāḥ saṃsṛjati taccānyeṣāṃ vyaktam-nāpitaṃ śiṣyāt-śīto ṣṇābhirahbhirabartha kurvāṇo'kṣaṇvan kuśalīkurviti //

Sudarśana’s Gṛhyatātparyadarśana-vyākhyā (sūtra 10.5)

brāhmaṇān bhojayitvetyanena yacchrāddhaṃ dharmaśāstre'śucīn mantravatassarvakṛtyeṣu bhojayet'(āpa.dha.2-15-11) iti vihitaṃ, yadeva nāndīśrāddhamabhyudayaśrāddhamiti prasiddhaṃ, tadevocyate /
tacca smṛtyantaraprasiddhavidhinā kartavyam /
tasya tviha punaḥ pāṭhaḥ pāṭhakrameṇānuṣṭhānārthaḥ /

anyathā padārthānāṃ baddhakramatvādvivāhādiṣvivānta eva syāt /
aśīrvacane'pi dharmaśāstravihite'yameva nyāyaḥ

āśīrvacanavidhiśca bhāṣyoktaḥ /

kecit-pūrvedyurnāndīśrāddham, ācārāt smṛtyantarācca /
śvobhūte ca brāhmaṇānāṃ bhojanaṃ, bhuktavadbhirevāśiṣāṃ vācanārtham /
sarvakarmaṇāṃ cānte'śucīt mantravatassarvakṛtyeṣu bhojayet'iti vacanāditi /

atra ca kumārasya snavabhojanātprāk'yajñopavītaṃ paramaṃ pavitram'ityādimantreṇa yajñopavītadhāraṇam /
'bhojana ācamane svādhyāye ca yajñopavītī syāt'iti dharmaśāstravacanāt //
'kecit-samidādhānātprāgeveti'; //


kumārabhojanaṃ ca vinā kṣāralavaṇādibhiḥ /
ādyantayośca dvirācamanam /

kecit-evamantaṃ mātāpitarau kurutaḥ, ata ūrdhvamācārya iti //


anuvākasya prathamena yajuṣā'uṣṇena vāyo'ityanena apaḥ uṣṇāśśītāśca saṃsṛjati /
saṃsṛjaṃśco ṣṇāśśītāsvānayati, na tada tviniyamena /
atra cānuvākagrahaṇaṃ gṛhyamantrāssamāmnātā eva na kalpasūtrasthā iti jñāpanārtham /
tatprayojanaṃ caite brahmayajñādiṣvadhyetavyā ityuktam /
tatastābhiradbhiḥ'āpa undantu'ityetayā kumārasya śira unatti /
prāgarabhya pradakṣiṇa mupanatti kledayati //
