This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 72.19

kathaṃ girāṃ viyāharanto dāsyaṃ saṃpūrṇasaṃkalpamanoratho sa |
māṃ prāpya prīto kathaṃ pratikrame ti sā me ratir bhavatu sahasranetra || 19 ||

“Let this be my delight, O thousand-eyed one, that I go on giving and impart counsel the while, and that he who comes to me will go away replenished, content, satisfied and glad. (19)
