This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

महान्तं च मम राज्यं बहूश्वं बहुपौरुषं ।
अनन्तबहुप्रदानं बह्वाच्छादनभोजनं ॥ ११२ ॥

mahāntaṃ ca mama rājyaṃ bahūśvaṃ bahupauruṣaṃ |
anantabahupradānaṃ bahvācchādanabhojanaṃ || 112 ||

“A great realm is mine, rich in horses and in men, where gifts are endless and clothing and food are abundant. (112)
