This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 65.24

यथा तृणानि गृह्णासि यथा याचसि स्वस्तिकं ।
यथोपेसि महीमण्डं अद्य बुद्धो भविष्यसि ॥ २४ ॥

yathā tṛṇāni gṛhṇāsi yathā yācasi svastikaṃ |
yathopesi mahīmaṇḍaṃ adya buddho bhaviṣyasi || 24 ||

“From the way thou boldest the grass, from the way thou dost ask Svastika for it, from the way thou dost approach the bodhi throne, to-day thou wilt become Buddha. (24)
