This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.404

ब्राह्मणमहाशालश् च प्रज्ञावन्तो बहुश्रुतो ।
क्षत्रियमहाशालश् च आढ्यो भोति महाधनो ॥ ४०४ ॥

brāhmaṇamahāśālaś ca prajñāvanto bahuśruto |
kṣatriyamahāśālaś ca āḍhyo bhoti mahādhano || 404 ||

He becomes an affluent brahman, wise and learned; an affluent noble, wealthy and rich. (404)
