This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 12.36

तस्यापि योजनानि नव शरीरप्रभा जिनप्रवरस्य ।
वशिभूतकोटियो चतुस्त्रिंशद् दशबले समनुबद्धाः ॥ ३६ ॥

tasyāpi yojanāni nava śarīraprabhā jinapravarasya |
vaśibhūtakoṭiyo catustriṃśad daśabale samanubaddhāḥ || 36 ||

This most excellent Conqueror had a radiance extending nine yojanas. Thirty-four kotis of saints attended upon this Dashabala. (36)
