The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

गृहभित्तिपरावृत्ता सत्त्वसंरम्भमांसला ।
शब्दश्रीः पूरयामास कर्णमर्ण इवार्णवम् ॥ १४ ॥

gṛhabhittiparāvṛttā sattvasaṃrambhamāṃsalā |
śabdaśrīḥ pūrayāmāsa karṇamarṇa ivārṇavam || 14 ||

The thickening noise of the hurry and flurry of men, resounded as hoarsely within the hollow walls of the hall, that they filled the cars of men, as the dashing waves fill the concave of the hollow sea.
