The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अथ वर्णयितुं श्रीमांस्तत्प्रतापमिवागमत् ।
संप्रविश्य समुद्रान्तरन्यलोकान्तरं रविः ॥ ३ ॥

atha varṇayituṃ śrīmāṃstatpratāpamivāgamat |
saṃpraviśya samudrāntaranyalokāntaraṃ raviḥ || 3 ||

At last they went down into the ocean, and then proceeded to the other side of the world; in order to show his glory; like that of Vipaschit, to other parts of the world.
