The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

क्वचित्सामन्तसंक्षुब्धसैन्यसंहरणं रणे ।
क्वचित्सौम्यसुखासीनसर्वसामन्तमण्डलम् ॥ ९ ॥

kvacitsāmantasaṃkṣubdhasainyasaṃharaṇaṃ raṇe |
kvacitsaumyasukhāsīnasarvasāmantamaṇḍalam || 9 ||

Some places I saw, where warfares were waged between hostile hosts, and some others also, where the armies were sitting at ease, and gladsome conversation with one another.
