The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मिथुनं तद्ददर्शाथ मिथः प्रहसिताननम् ।
अन्योन्यवदनासक्तं छन्नं कल्पलतांशुकैः ॥ ११ ॥

mithunaṃ taddadarśātha mithaḥ prahasitānanam |
anyonyavadanāsaktaṃ channaṃ kalpalatāṃśukaiḥ || 11 ||

He beheld the amorous pair, with their smiling faces; and both kissing and embracing one another, as when the ivy entwines a large tree.
