स्थावरे जंगमे वापि यथाभिमतयेच्छया ।
भोक्तुं तत्संपदं सम्यग्जीवोऽन्तर्विनिवेश्यते ॥ ३१ ॥

sthāvare jaṃgame vāpi yathābhimatayecchayā |
bhoktuṃ tatsaṃpadaṃ samyagjīvo'ntarviniveśyate || 31 ||

Thus is the life infused in all movable and immovable things, in order to enjoy the pleasures of their particular states at its pleasure.
