The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.77.16

भोक्ता सत्सङ्गसहितः सुश्रोता सकलश्रुतेः ।
वेदासौ माननाशून्यः स्त्रैणं तृणवदस्पृशन् ॥ १६ ॥

bhoktā satsaṅgasahitaḥ suśrotā sakalaśruteḥ |
vedāsau mānanāśūnyaḥ straiṇaṃ tṛṇavadaspṛśan || 16 ||

He enjoyed all luxuries in the company of good people, and listened to the lessons of the Srutis. He knew all knowledge without any boast on his part, and he hated to touch women as straws.
