आप्यायनकरीं पश्चाच्छशितामधितिष्ठति ।
प्राण एवेन्दुतां त्यक्त्वा शरीराप्यायकारिणीम् ॥ ३९ ॥

āpyāyanakarīṃ paścācchaśitāmadhitiṣṭhati |
prāṇa evendutāṃ tyaktvā śarīrāpyāyakāriṇīm || 39 ||

The prana expiration forsakes its nature of the cooling moon, and turns in a moment to assume the nature of the hot sun, that dries and sucks up everything before it.
