The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.19.11

अन्तर्वत्न्यो बभूवुस्ता ब्राह्म्यो हंस्यो मुनीश्वर ।
वृत्तान्तं कथयामासुर्ब्राह्म्या देव्या यथास्थितम् ॥ ११ ॥

antarvatnyo babhūvustā brāhmyo haṃsyo munīśvara |
vṛttāntaṃ kathayāmāsurbrāhmyā devyā yathāsthitam || 11 ||

The geese of Brahma perceiving their pregnancy, repaired to the presence of their goddess, and represented to bear their case, as I have, O chief of sages! already related unto you.
