The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.18.4

क्षीरसागरसंभूतः प्रसृतामृतनिर्झरः ।
प्रतिबिम्बकरः श्रीमान्यस्य चूडामणिः शशी ॥ ४ ॥

kṣīrasāgarasaṃbhūtaḥ prasṛtāmṛtanirjharaḥ |
pratibimbakaraḥ śrīmānyasya cūḍāmaṇiḥ śaśī || 4 ||

The crown of his head was decorated with the gemming milk-white disk of the moon, which sprung from the bosom of the milky ocean; and spread her bright radiance and ambrosial dews about his person.
