The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

निर्विकल्पसमाध्यंशलभ्योदारपरेच्छया ।
स जहार जगज्जीर्णां स्वव्यापारपरम्पराम् ॥ ६ ॥

nirvikalpasamādhyaṃśalabhyodāraparecchayā |
sa jahāra jagajjīrṇāṃ svavyāpāraparamparām || 6 ||

He fixed his aim to the highest object of unalterable ecstasis said:—samadhi, and abandoned his cares for the rotten world, in the course of his conduct in life.
