The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रवृत्तवाक्पुण्यकथो दैन्याद्व्यपगताशयः ।
धीरधीरुदितानन्दः पेशलः पुण्यकीर्तनः ॥ १५ ॥

pravṛttavākpuṇyakatho dainyādvyapagatāśayaḥ |
dhīradhīruditānandaḥ peśalaḥ puṇyakīrtanaḥ || 15 ||

He opens his mouth in edifying speeches, and never betrays his penury in any way; he is always sedate in his mind, and ever of a cheerful complexion.
