चिरमज्ञानधूर्तेन पोथितोऽस्मि त्वहंतया ।
वृकेण दृप्तेनाटव्यां लब्धेन पशुपोतकः ॥ ४६ ॥

ciramajñānadhūrtena pothito'smi tvahaṃtayā |
vṛkeṇa dṛptenāṭavyāṃ labdhena paśupotakaḥ || 46 ||

I have been long deceived by my deceitful ignorance, and am misled from the right path;as the young of a beast is carried away by a fierce tiger to the woods.
