The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अयं नामाहमित्यन्तः कुतो निरवलम्बना ।
अपर्यन्ताकृतेरेषा किलासीत्स्वल्पता मम ॥ ६४ ॥

ayaṃ nāmāhamityantaḥ kuto niravalambanā |
aparyantākṛtereṣā kilāsītsvalpatā mama || 64 ||

The attribute of a name and body to the unsupported soul is a falsehood, and so is it to compress the unlimited soul within the narrow bounds of the body.
