The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

क्षणमान्ध्यमिवाप्नोमि क्षणं यामि प्रकाशताम् ।
शान्तातपलवः प्रावृड्लोलाभ्र इव वासरः ॥ २ ॥

kṣaṇamāndhyamivāpnomi kṣaṇaṃ yāmi prakāśatām |
śāntātapalavaḥ prāvṛḍlolābhra iva vāsaraḥ || 2 ||

I am sometimes darkened and enlightened at others, by the variety of your discourses, as a rainy day is now obscured by the cloud, and again shines forth brightly with sunshine.
