The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चित्राश्चित्रसमाचारैः कल्पिताः शास्त्रदृष्टयः ॥ ३० ॥

ārhatādibhiranyaiśca svayābhimatayecchayā |
citrāścitrasamācāraiḥ kalpitāḥ śāstradṛṣṭayaḥ || 30 ||
