The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तस्येन्दुबिम्बप्रतिमा भार्या कमललोचना ।
अहल्या नाम तत्रासीच्छशाङ्कस्येव रोहिणी ॥ ८ ॥

tasyendubimbapratimā bhāryā kamalalocanā |
ahalyā nāma tatrāsīcchaśāṅkasyeva rohiṇī || 8 ||

He had a wife fair as the orb of moon, with her eyes as beautiful as lotuses. Her name was Ahalya and she resembled Rohini—the favourite of moon.
