The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.37.58

खर्वगाः खदिताः क्षुद्रा यातुधानैः परावृताः ।
तेजः परममाजग्मुः शान्ताग्नय इवेन्धनैः ॥ ५८ ॥

kharvagāḥ khaditāḥ kṣudrā yātudhānaiḥ parāvṛtāḥ |
tejaḥ paramamājagmuḥ śāntāgnaya ivendhanaiḥ || 58 ||

The puny and short statured Deccanese, being driven back by the Rakshas of Lanka, redoubled their attack on them, as the smothering fire is rekindled by fuel.
