The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.37.43

कौसलाः पौरवारावमसहन्तोऽन्तका इव ।
तैरुन्मुक्तगदाप्रासशरशक्त्यतिवृष्टयः ॥ ४३ ॥

kausalāḥ pauravārāvamasahanto'ntakā iva |
tairunmuktagadāprāsaśaraśaktyativṛṣṭayaḥ || 43 ||

The Kosalas were unable to withstand the war cry of the deadly Pauravas, and were discomfited by showers of their clubs, and missile arrows and darts.
