The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

करकंकटकुट्यङ्कखड्गसंघट्टटांकृतैः ।
कालरात्र्या प्रनृत्यन्त्या रणवीणेव वाद्यते ॥ ४३ ॥

karakaṃkaṭakuṭyaṅkakhaḍgasaṃghaṭṭaṭāṃkṛtaiḥ |
kālarātryā pranṛtyantyā raṇavīṇeva vādyate || 43 ||

The jingling of arms and armours, and the jangling of swords and steel, resound, as the tingling of the lute at the dancing of the dire and dreaded dame of death.
