The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.20.10

पद्माक्षे स्थापितो मेरुर्निगीर्णो भृङ्गसूनुना ।
स्वप्नाब्दगर्जितं श्रुत्वा चित्रं नृत्यन्ति बर्हिणः ॥ १० ॥

padmākṣe sthāpito merurnigīrṇo bhṛṅgasūnunā |
svapnābdagarjitaṃ śrutvā citraṃ nṛtyanti barhiṇaḥ || 10 ||

It is as incredible as to believe a lotus seed containing a hill in it, and to be devoured by a little bee; or that the peacocks are dancing on hearing the roaring of clouds in a dream.
