The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.17.19

पताकामञ्जरीकीर्णराजधानीगृहस्थितम् ।
पूर्वद्वारस्थितासंख्यमुनिविप्रर्षिमण्डलम् ॥ १९ ॥

patākāmañjarīkīrṇarājadhānīgṛhasthitam |
pūrvadvārasthitāsaṃkhyamuniviprarṣimaṇḍalam || 19 ||

The royal palace and hall were decorated with rows of flags, and there was an assemblage of unnumbered sages and saints, Brahmans and Rishis at the eastern entrance of the hall.
