The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मनः प्रशमनोद्भूत्तं तत्प्राप्यं परमं सुखम् ।
विकासिशमपुष्पस्य विवेकोच्चतरोः फलम् ॥ ४७ ॥

manaḥ praśamanodbhūttaṃ tatprāpyaṃ paramaṃ sukham |
vikāsiśamapuṣpasya vivekoccataroḥ phalam || 47 ||

That ultimate felicity is born of and obtainable from the peace of mind: it is the fruit of the high arbor of reason from its blossom of peace.
