The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अविवेकिनमज्ञानमसज्जनरतिं जनम् ।
चिरं दूरतरे कृत्वा पूजनीया हि साधवः ॥ ५७ ॥

avivekinamajñānamasajjanaratiṃ janam |
ciraṃ dūratare kṛtvā pūjanīyā hi sādhavaḥ || 57 ||

Keep yourself always from the injudicious and ignorant, and those addicted to the company of wicked people, and honour the virtuous.
