तत्र तडिता, यथा —
बाढं निविडया सद्यस् तडिता ताडितेक्षणः ।
रक्ष कृष्णेति चुक्रोश को’पि गोपी-स्तनन्धयः ॥२.४.५५॥tatra taḍitā, yathā —
bāḍhaṃ niviḍayā sadyas taḍitā tāḍitekṣaṇaḥ |
rakṣa kṛṣṇeti cukrośa ko’pi gopī-stanandhayaḥ ||2.4.55||
English translation
Terror from lightning:
“When the eyes of the cowherd boys became pained by the flashing of lightning, they began to shout, ‘O Kṛṣṇa, please protect us!’ ”
