The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.4.17; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

धन्यस्यायं नवः प्रेमा यस्योन्मीलति चेतसि ।
अन्तर्वाणीभिर् अप्य् अस्य मुद्रा सुष्ठु सुदुर्गमा ॥१.४.१७॥

dhanyasyāyaṃ navaḥ premā yasyonmīlati cetasi |
antarvāṇībhir apy asya mudrā suṣṭhu sudurgamā
||1.4.17||

English translation

“This ever-fresh prema arises in the heart of a person who is very fortunate. That person’s behavior is very difficult to comprehend even for those who are knowledgeable in scriptures.”
