त्रैलोक्ये पृथिवी धन्या जम्बुद्वीपो यतः परम्
तत्रापि भारतं वर्षं तत्रापि मथुरा पुरी

trailokye pṛthivī dhanyā jambudvīpo yataḥ param
tatrāpi bhārataṃ varṣaṃ tatrāpi mathurā purī

English translation of verse:

In the three worlds the most fortunate place is the earthly planets. The best of them is Jambudvīpa. In Jambudvīpa the best place is Bhārata-varṣa. In Bhārata-varṣa the best place is Mathurā-purī.
