The Garga-samhita Verse 5.19.4, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 19 (The Festival on Shri Krishna Return) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

गोवर्धनं गोकुलं च
पश्यन् वृन्दावनं वनम्
प्राप्तो ऽभूत् पुलिने कृष्णो
कृष्णा-तीरे मनोहरे

govardhanaṃ gokulaṃ ca
paśyan vṛndāvanaṃ vanam
prāpto 'bhūt puline kṛṣṇo
kṛṣṇā-tīre manohare

govardhanam—Govardhana; gokulam—Gokula; ca—and; paśyan—seeing; vṛndāvanam—Vṛndāvana; vanam—forest; prāptaḥ—attained; abhūt—did; puline—on the shore; kṛṣṇaḥKṛṣṇa; kṛṣṇā-tīre—on the Yamunā's shore; manohare—beautiful.

English translation of verse 5.19.4:

Seeing Govardhana and Gokula as He went, Kṛṣṇa came to the Yamunā's beautiful shore by Vṛndāvana forest.
