The Garga-samhita Verse 4.8.4, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 8 (In the Story of the Yajna-sitas, the Glories of Ekadashi) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

पुण्ये वृन्दावने रम्ये
कालिन्दी-निकटे शुभे
नन्द-राज-सहायेन
वासं ते चक्रिरे नृप

puṇye vṛndāvane ramye
kālindī-nikaṭe śubhe
nanda-rāja-sahāyena
vāsaṃ te cakrire nṛpa

puṇye—sacred; vṛndāvane—in Vṛndāvana; ramye—beautiful; kālindī-nikaṭe—by theYamunā; śubhe—beautiful; nanda-rājaof King Nanda; sahāyena—with the help; vāsam—residence; te—they; cakrire—did; nṛpaO king.

English translation of verse 4.8.4:

O king, with the help of King Nanda, they made their homes in beautiful and sacred Vṛndāvana by the shore of the beautiful Yamunā.
