The Garga-samhita Verse 2.1.26, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 1 (Description of the Entrance in Vrindavana) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

गदा-प्रहार-व्यथितः
किञ्चिद्-व्याकुल-मानसः
पुनर् उत्थाय सर्वेषां
मुष्टिना स तताड ह

gadā-prahāra-vyathitaḥ
kiñcid-vyākula-mānasaḥ
punar utthāya sarveṣāṃ
muṣṭinā sa tatāḍa ha

gadāof the club; prahāraby the blow; vyathitaḥ—wounded; kiñcitsomewhat; vyākuladistresed; mānasaḥ—in mind; punaḥ—again; utthāyarising; sarveṣām—of all; muṣṭinā—with a fist; sa—he; tatāḍa—struck; ha—certainly.

English translation of verse 2.1.26:

Wounded by the club, and now unhappy at heart, the demon rose again and with his fist struck the Lord.
