disaṇēṃ (दिसणें).—v i To appear; to be in sight; to be visible. 2 To look; to have a particular appearance. 3 To seem:--in opp. to being in reality. 4 To seem, bid, promise; to hold out a show or semblance. 5 To be clear, plain, evident. 6 This verb answers in a certain construction to our verb To think; as tō yētāṃ-jātāṃ-dētāṃ-ghētāṃ- karatāṃ &c. disata nāhīṃ I dont think he will comego-give- &c. Gen. neg. con. disūna yēṇēṃ To appear, turn up, come to light: also to turn out; to prove to be.
