This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 112.35

तन् ते हं कीर्तयिष्यामि गाथाये अनुपूर्वशः ।
श्रोत्रं मो दत्त्वा सक्तृत्यं शृणोहि मम भाषतो ॥ ३५ ॥

tan te haṃ kīrtayiṣyāmi gāthāye anupūrvaśaḥ |
śrotraṃ mo dattvā saktṛtyaṃ śṛṇohi mama bhāṣato || 35 ||

All this I shall tell you of duly in verse. Give ear and attentively listen to me as I speak. (35)
