This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.182

शैलो महन्तो यथ चक्रवाडो क्षिप्तो नभातो पतितो न्रस्य मूर्ध्ने ।
जनेय सौख्यं सिय ततो स्वस्तिभावो न बोधिसत्वे परुषाणि फृत्वा ॥ १८२ ॥

śailo mahanto yatha cakravāḍo kṣipto nabhāto patito nrasya mūrdhne |
janeya saukhyaṃ siya tato svastibhāvo na bodhisatve paruṣāṇi phṛtvā || 182 ||

“It would be easier for a man on whom a rock as big as Cakravada was thrown from the sky, falling on his head, to ensure his safety and have good luck, than it would be for one who dealt harshly with the Bodhisattva. (182)
