Summary: This essay studies the Vasudevavijaya of Vasudeva: an educational poem belonging to the Shastra-Kavya category of technical Sanskrit literature. The Vasudevavijayam consists of 657 verses depicting the story of Lord Krishna while at the same time illustrates the grammatical rules of the Ashtadhyayi of Panini.

The Vasudevavijaya was possibly written as early as the 11th century A.D. The subject-content of the poem was taken from the tenth Skandha of the Bhagavatapurana. There is an auto-commentary named the Padacandrika.

Alternative titles: Vāsudevavijaya (वासुदेवविजय), Vasudeva-vijaya, Padacandrikā (पदचन्द्रिका).
