The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अयं चतुर्बाहुरयं विश्वस्रष्टा चतुर्मुखः ।
अयमेव महादेवः संहर्ता च त्रिलोचनः ॥ ८७ ॥

ayaṃ caturbāhurayaṃ viśvasraṣṭā caturmukhaḥ |
ayameva mahādevaḥ saṃhartā ca trilocanaḥ || 87 ||

He is the four armed and four-faced Brahma—the creator of the world, he is also the great Mahadeva with his three eyes, who is the destroyer of the world.
