The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एष एव क्रमस्तेषां सति वाऽसति सर्गके ।
अस्याः संसारमायाया एवंभूतार्थभावनात् ॥ २२ ॥
eṣa eva kramasteṣāṃ sati vā'sati sargake |
asyāḥ saṃsāramāyāyā evaṃbhūtārthabhāvanāt || 22 ||
This is the course of the production of the past and present creations, and it is the reminiscence of the past, which is the cause of the delusion of taking the world for a real existence.
