The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.43.41

निर्यान्त्यविरतं तस्मात्परस्माज्जीवराशयः ।
अनिर्देश्याः स्वसंवेद्यास्तत्रैवाशु स्फुरन्ति च ॥ ४१ ॥

niryāntyavirataṃ tasmātparasmājjīvarāśayaḥ |
anirdeśyāḥ svasaṃvedyāstatraivāśu sphuranti ca || 41 ||

In this manner do the multitudes of living beings, proceed from the Supreme Spirit, who with the consciousness of their self-existence, rise from and fall at last into it.
