The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.49.1

श्रीवसिष्ठं उवाच ।
ववुर्वलितनीहारा विकीर्णवनपल्लवाः ।
वायवो धूतवृक्षौघाः सल्लीलापीडपांसवः ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭhaṃ uvāca |
vavurvalitanīhārā vikīrṇavanapallavāḥ |
vāyavo dhūtavṛkṣaughāḥ sallīlāpīḍapāṃsavaḥ || 1 ||

Then blew the icy winds of winter, blasting the beauty of the foliage of forest trees, and shaking and breaking the beautiful arbors, and covering them with gusts of dust.
