sa hovāca mūrdhānamupadiśanneṣa vā atiṣṭhā vaiśvānara iti cakṣuṣī upadiśannuvācaiṣa vai sutatejā vaiśvānara iti nāsike upadiśannuvācaiṣa vai pṛthagvartmā vaiśvānara iti mukhyamākāśamupadiśannuvācaiṣa vai bahulo vaiśvānara iti mukhyā apa upadiśannuvācaiṣa vai rayirvaiśvānaro iti cubukamupadiśannuvācaiṣa vai pratiṣṭhā vaiśvānara iti sa eṣo'gnirvaiśvānaro yatpuruṣaḥ sa yo haitamevamagniṃ vaiśvānaram puruṣavidham puruṣe'ntaḥ pratiṣṭhitaṃ vedāpa punarmṛtyuṃ jayati sarvamāyureti na hāsya bruvāṇaṃ cana vaiśvānaro hinasti

11. Pointing at the head he said, “This, indeed, is the Vaishvanara Pre-eminence;”—pointing at the eyes he said, “This, indeed, is the Vaishvanara of Soma’s splendour;”—pointing at the nostrils he said, “This, indeed, is the Vaishvanara of divers courses;”—pointing at the space in the mouth he said, “This, indeed, is the Vaishvanara Plenteous;”—pointing at the water in the mouth he said, “This, indeed, is the Vaishvanara Wealth;”—pointing at the chin he said, “This, indeed, is the Vaishvanara Foundation.” This Agni Vaishvanara is no other than the Purusha; and, verily, whosoever thus knows that Agni Vaishvanara as Purusha-like, as established within the Purusha, repels death, and attains all life; and, verily, Vaishvanara does no harm to him that speaks of him.
