अ॒स्मभ्यं॒ सु त्वमि॑न्द्र॒ तां शि॑क्ष॒ या दोह॑ते॒ प्रति॒ वरं॑ जरि॒त्रे । अच्छि॑द्रोध्नी पी॒पय॒द्यथा॑ नः स॒हस्र॑धारा॒ पय॑सा म॒ही गौः ॥
अस्मभ्यं सु त्वमिन्द्र तां शिक्ष या दोहते प्रति वरं जरित्रे । अच्छिद्रोध्नी पीपयद्यथा नः सहस्रधारा पयसा मही गौः ॥
asmabhyaṃ su tvam indra tāṃ śikṣa yā dohate prati varaṃ jaritre | acchidrodhnī pīpayad yathā naḥ sahasradhārā payasā mahī gauḥ ||
English translation:
“Give to us, Indra, (the cow) who gives milk to the worshipper according to his desire, so that themighty cow, possessed of an unfailing udder, the shedder of a thousand streams, may supply us plural ntifully withmilk.”
