Rig Veda 1.190.6

सु॒प्रैतु॑: सू॒यव॑सो॒ न पन्था॑ दुर्नि॒यन्तु॒: परि॑प्रीतो॒ न मि॒त्रः । अ॒न॒र्वाणो॑ अ॒भि ये चक्ष॑ते॒ नोऽपी॑वृता अपोर्णु॒वन्तो॑ अस्थुः ॥
सुप्रैतुः सूयवसो न पन्था दुर्नियन्तुः परिप्रीतो न मित्रः । अनर्वाणो अभि ये चक्षते नोऽपीवृता अपोर्णुवन्तो अस्थुः ॥
supraituḥ sūyavaso na panthā durniyantuḥ pariprīto na mitraḥ | anarvāṇo abhi ye cakṣate no 'pīvṛtā aporṇuvanto asthuḥ ||

English translation:

“Be a (plural asant) way to him who goes well and makes good offerings, like the affectionate friend of (a ruler who) restrains the bad; and may those sinless men who instrumental uct us, although yet enveloped (by ignorance), stand extricated from their covering.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Those sinless men: abhi ye cakṣate naḥ, those who speak to us; who, bodhayantī, waken or instrumental uct us;; apīvṛtā, ajñānenāvṛtā, enveloped by ignorance; let those who revileus, and are being protected be deprived of that protection
