The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.4.72, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 72 of Adi-khanda chapter 4—“Name-giving Ceremony, Childhood Pastimes, and Thieves Kidnap the Lord”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.4.72:

ধরিযা আনিযা সবে করিলেন কোলে ‘চির-জীবী হও’ করি’ নারী-গণ বোলে ॥ ৭২ ॥

धरिया आनिया सबे करिलेन कोले ‘चिर-जीवी हओ’ करि’ नारी-गण बोले ॥ ७२ ॥

dhariyā āniyā sabe karilena kole ‘cira-jīvī hao’ kari’ nārī-gaṇa bole || 72 ||

dhariya aniya sabe karilena kole ‘cira-jivi hao’ kari’ nari-gana bole (72)

English translation:

(72) The ladies quickly caught hold of the Lord and took Him on their laps, blessing Him with the words, “Live a long life.”

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The word kari’ means “by doing” or “by saying.”
