The Sanskrit edition of the Apastamba Sulba-sutra with the commentaries of Kapardin, Karavinda and Sundararaja. The Sulbasutras are considered Vedic appendices and deals with the ancient Indian science of Mathematics and Geometry, by instructing the construction of fire-altars, among others. Sutra 9.1a
unmucya veṇuṃ madhyame śaṅkāv antyaṃ veṇoś chidraṃ pratimucyoparyupari lekhāsamaraṃ dakṣiṇā veṇuṃ nidhāyāntye chidre śaṅkuṃ nihatya tasmin madhyamaṃ veṇoś chidraṃ pratimucya lekhāntayor itare pratiṣṭhāpya chidrayoḥ śaṅkū nihanti || Sūtra _9.1a ||
dakṣiṇe śaṅkau anyataraṃ veṇośchidraṃ pratimucyoparyuparilekhāsambhedaṃ dakṣiṇāgraṃ veṇuṃ nidhāya antye chidre śaṅkuṃ nihatya tamin śṅkakakakau
madhyamaṃ veṇośchidraṃ pratimucya lekhāntarayorantara chidrepratiṣṭhāpya chidrayorlekhāntayoreva śaṅkū nihanti /
