Yuvati (युवति):—und yuvatī

1) Adj. f. und Subst. jung , Jungfrau , junges Weib. So heissen Uṣas , die Finger , (Du.) Nacht und Morgen , Himmel und Erde. ibha ein junges Elephantenweibchen. Am Ende eines adj. Comp. f. statt yuvan Jüngling.

2) Adj. als Beiw. eines Pfeils wohl so v.a. eben abgeschossen ; vgl. jedoch yuvā. —

3) f. — a) die Jungfrau im Thierkreise. — b) *Gelbwurz.
