Diese Definition scheint falsch zu sein; es sind diejenigen Stellen gemeint, auf welchen ein Schlag lebensgefährliche Wirkung hervorbringt auch ohne dass ein fremder Körper (śalya) in den Leib eindringt: die Schläfen und der Raum zwischen den Brauen [Suśruta 1, 346, 2. 4. 11. 347, 3. 12] (ghnāni Hdschr.). [348, 7.]
